Simple Cocoa

 

I find this ratio of water to milk makes for a nice snack/complement to any meal, and is great for bedtime, especially if you are having any troubles with either getting to or staying asleep. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup milk of choice  – ideally grass-fed or organic, or unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1-2 tsp sugar (to personal taste)
  • 1 tsp cocoa/cacao powder
  • 1-2 scoops collagen powder (optional, for added protein)

 

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a mug and microwave to desired temperature (I find 90-120 seconds works well).  Or use a saucepan, whisk ingredients together until desired temperature.
  2. Serve immediately.

Makes one serving.
