Ingredients

  • 1½ cups low-fat milk

  • ¼ cup white sugar

  • 3 tbsp gelatin powder – I like Great Lakes Beef Gelatin

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • ½ tsp peppermint extract (optional – can use orange, or vanilla if prefer)

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Bloom gelatin in 1/4 cup cold milk.

2. Heat remaining milk with sugar and cocoa until dissolved.

3. Remove from heat.  Whisk in gelatin and peppermint/vanilla extract.

4. Pour into lined dish.

5. Chill 2–3 hours, slice into squares.
